The View Ireland works with women in the justice system, including women who are homeless, careleavers, women who have left the Dochas Centre and women who are trapped in the Direct Provisions System as well as women who have survived domestic abuse and sexual violence. Through their words, art and experiences, we highlight their situations and provide a paid platform for them to showcase their work art. We have a pop up shop in the Liberties and we take part in various events and flea markets where we sell the beautiful artwork and cards they have made. They receive 50% of the proceeds, the balance is reinvested into The View Ireland’s Irish projects and outreach.
Find us at the Useless Project’s monthly Workman’s Club flea markets on the quays or at The Well with We Love Markets and Emma and her team!
